I grew up in Garland. I attended Williams Elementary, Sam Houston Middle School, and graduated from South Garland High School in 1999. I currently work for a small business in District 5. I also operated a successful small business and understand the challenges business owners in this district face. I have an A.S. in Biology from Dallas College Richland Campus.

In 2016, I was appointed to the Garland Parks and Recreation Board, where I became passionate about volunteering and community involvement. I was elected Vice Chair of the board and worked closely with the Parks Department to develop projects and assess the budget for the 2019 Bond Program.
In 2021, I was appointed to the Garland Plan Commission where I studied Garland Code, zoning ordinances, and the Envision Garland Plan. I know how crucial planning and zoning decisions are to economic development. Increasing development and improving the esthetics of District 5 and our city were my top priorities.
In 2020, I co-founded The Garland Parks Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit, for which I am Board President. The foundation is dedicated to raising funds and installing park amenities in the Garland Parks.
